There are 111 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and many also like its comfort and handling in challenging weather conditions. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, practical family SUV with easy everyday usability. With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market choice if you want to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, especially for shoppers who value comfort, space, and trouble-free family transport. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and body condition so long-term ownership risk stays manageable.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Traverse?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly when you find a strong one.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 111 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,434 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $25,434 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,079 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Traverse has softened enough to give you a better entry point today, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if the market stays soft. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later. Strong demand for roomy family SUVs can help support values, especially when the vehicle has a good ownership reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Traverse makes sense if you want a spacious, comfortable three-row SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020’s strong owner satisfaction and current market softness.
