Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, especially over longer ownership periods. The strong ride quality and positive driving experience suggest it can be a reassuring choice if you want something you can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying too much for a vehicle whose value proposition is already a known weak point.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,400 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,635 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,924 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market is headed. If you buy now, you may not see rapid appreciation, but the lower entry price can help cushion depreciation. The current trend also means a well-priced example should remain easier to move than one that starts too high.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,716 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,635 CAD average.
• It is rarer and more style-focused.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better primary pick if you want the strongest value and more negotiating room. If you care more about the newer-year alternative and are willing to pay extra, the 2021 is the secondary path; price-sensitive buyers should stay focused on the 2020 and target the lower end of the market.
