Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi SQ5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 46 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,407 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi SQ5's resale value?

The current average of $29,709 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,864 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy at today's average, your resale position will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle is maintained. Strong demand can still support value, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a sensible primary choice if you want a used SQ5 with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price environment than a year ago. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020's current market position.
