Is the 2022 Audi SQ5 reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi SQ5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,384 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi SQ5's resale value?

The current average of $40,404 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,326 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale gains may be more limited in the near term unless demand strengthens. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a sensible choice if you want a used SQ5 with proven owner approval and a softer price than last year. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced listing rather than the newest one.
