There are 60 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2018 Audi SQ5 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi SQ5 earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its sporty performance, luxurious feel, advanced technology features, powerful acceleration, and comfortable interior. It also stands out as a good fit for both daily driving and long trips. With 26.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2018 Audi SQ5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to dependable everyday use and confidence on longer drives. That said, you should still watch for ownership costs and condition-specific issues on any used example, since long-term risk depends heavily on maintenance history and how the vehicle was treated.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi SQ5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,511 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi SQ5's resale value?

The current average of $25,064 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,760 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to used buyers today but may limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but resale value will still depend on mileage, condition, and service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi SQ5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used SQ5 with strong owner approval and a softer price than a year ago, the 2018 is a sensible place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget further, keep an eye on listings at the lower end of the range and compare them carefully against nearby model years.
