Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q8?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 63 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,828 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $40,836 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,365 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays subdued. If you plan to sell later, buying well now matters more because your eventual return will depend heavily on how much room you leave between purchase price and market value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better path if you want a used Q8 with softer pricing and a solid owner satisfaction signal. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2020's current market position.
