What’s New for the 2026 Audi Q8
The Q8 received a range of upgrades for 2026. Most notable is new standard equipment on the base Progressiv trim including ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.
Design
The Q8 takes the Q7’s family-friendly lines and puts a harder edge on them. It has a more dramatic roofline along with muscular fenders and a large grille. Audi also offers a handful of wheel choices depending on the trim, and buyers have several colours and appearance package options to choose from.
Powertrain
The base engine is a turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder unit making 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The SQ8 comes with a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 making 500 hp, and the RS Q8 Performance model boosts output to 631 hp. All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard for all models, and the quickest model offers a blistering zero-to-100 km/h time of just 3.6 seconds. That said, the Q8’s sporty suspension and large wheels do hurt its ride quality, but it offers a decent ride in most situations.
Interior
Audi equips the Q8 with a long list of standard features, including leather upholstery, heated front and outboard rear seats, ventilated front seats, a power panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped shift knob and heated steering wheel, and wood trim. The five-seat Q8 is spacious and comfortable across both rows of seats, and cargo space is solid: 954 litres behind the rear seats and up to 1,719 litres with the rear bench folded flat.
Technology
The 2026 Q8 comes with a dual-screen infotainment system that features 10.1- and 8.6-inch displays. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is also standard along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio, ambient interior lighting, wireless phone charging, and more. Higher trims get a Bang and Olufsen stereo and additional USB ports.
