Used 2020 Audi Q7 for Sale nearRichmond Hill, ON

How much does the 2020 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 17.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

With 77 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before deciding.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth and quiet ride, comfort, safety features, and drivability. The Q7 is also framed as a family-friendly luxury SUV, and the refreshed design and technology help it feel more competitive in the premium midsize segment.

The main trade-offs are a cramped third row and limited cargo space, and the expert review also notes that some of the driver-assistance tech can be frustrating to use. Even so, the market still shows meaningful interest, with 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, safety, and a smooth, quiet ride. The expert review also describes the Q7 as well-rounded and enjoyable to drive, with its mild-hybrid system operating transparently in daily use.

Audi’s 48-volt mild-hybrid setup helps reduce fuel consumption, and the engine stop/start operation is designed to work unobtrusively. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the vehicle’s premium systems, technology, and maintenance history have been kept in good shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q7 comes in Komfort, Progressiv, and Technik trims. The base setup already includes leather upholstery and a third-row seat, while the higher trims add more luxury and technology, so you should compare equipment carefully if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: The 55 TFSI uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, paired with an eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. It is the stronger and more convincing choice for most shoppers, especially if you want brisk acceleration and solid towing ability.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. Some of these systems are optional rather than standard, so check the equipment list closely.
• Infotainment: The Q7 uses a 10.1-inch upper touchscreen and an 8.6-inch lower touchscreen, plus natural voice recognition, handwriting recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, and Audi Connect services. The system is advanced, but the touch controls can be finicky.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Q7 should use 12.0 L/100 km combined, while the road test returned 11.2 L/100 km and 13.0 L/100 km on a local fuel-testing loop.

Which 2020 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Komfort, Progressiv, Technik.

Here's the short version:

• Komfort: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the Q7’s core luxury-SUV appeal, including leather upholstery and a third-row seat. It makes sense if you want the most accessible way into the model, but you should compare it carefully against the higher trims because the Q7’s technology and comfort upgrades are a big part of its appeal.
• Progressiv: This is the trim to focus on if you want a better balance of equipment and value. It should suit most used buyers because it moves you further into the Q7’s premium features without jumping straight to the top-spec price.
• Technik: This is the best-equipped version and the one used for the expert test drive. It adds the most upscale feel, including the advanced lighting, dual touchscreen setup, head-up display, adaptive air suspension, and other premium touches, so it is the right pick if you want the fullest Q7 experience.

The safety package is available as the Driver Assistance Package, so verify whether the specific trim you are considering includes it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q7?

This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you have some room to shop around without waiting for a dramatic bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,416 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $33,757 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,850 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. It also means the market is currently more favourable to shoppers than it was a year ago, so resale upside will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2020 Audi Q7 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS, though its headlight assessment is poor.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips the Q7 with numerous advanced driver-assistance systems, and the available Driver Assistance Package includes Emergency Assist, Turn Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, traffic-jam assistance, and lane-centring assistance. The package adds meaningful capability, but the expert review also notes that the traffic-sign recognition and lane-assist behaviour can be irritating in real-world use.

The poor headlight result is the main caveat to keep in mind when shopping used examples.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 model year brings a thorough update to the styling, interior, powertrain, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed Q7 with stronger tech and a more modern feel, the 2020 is the right direction to go. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may still want to compare nearby years, but the 2020’s combination of updated hardware, strong owner satisfaction, and softer pricing makes it the more compelling used buy for many shoppers.
