For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce the risk of regret, especially if you prioritise a premium SUV that should hold up well in regular ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,605 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $23,605 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,524 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the XC60 more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you buy at the right number, you can reduce the chance of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model's premium positioning and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale will still depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 XC60 is the better pick if you want a well-liked, safety-focused luxury SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you're especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
