Is the 2019 Toyota C-HR reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota C-HR?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,625 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota C-HR's resale value?

The current average of $19,784 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,704 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal if you're thinking ahead to resale: it may help you buy at a more favourable point, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If prices remain stable from here, a well-kept example could still hold its appeal reasonably well. Strong condition and a clean history will matter more when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible primary choice if you want a used C-HR with solid owner approval and a market that has eased from last year. If you're especially price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby years and focus on whichever listing gives you the best condition-to-price balance.
