How much does the 2019 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $19,611 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $19,611 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $21,469 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $21,461 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.62% |
Prices have softened 8.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 119 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice when comparing prices and condition.
Is the 2019 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — the 2019 Toyota C-HR earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
With 27.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.
Is the 2019 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower day-to-day ownership risk if you choose a well-maintained example.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.62% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $19,611 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $19,611 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,461 CAD.
That kind of softening can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the top of the market. If you purchase near the current average or below, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure. A stable ownership reputation can help support demand when it is time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.62% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a used C-HR with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has eased from last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings at the lower end of the range and compare them carefully against nearby model years before you buy.
How does the 2019 Toyota C-HR compare to the 2019 Honda HR-V?
| Spec | 2019 Toyota C-HR | 2019 Honda HR-V |
|---|---|---|
| Starting MSRP | $21,145 CAD | $20,620 CAD |
| Engine | 2.0L 144 hp I4 | 1.8L 141 hp I4 |
| Horsepower | 144 hp @ 6100 rpm | 141 hp @ 6500 rpm |
| MPG/MPGe (city) | 27 | 28 |
| MPG/MPGe (highway) | 31 | 34 |
| Average used price | $19,611 CAD | $19,915 CAD |
| Listings available | 119 | 135 |
| Good & great deal share | 27.7% | 22.2% |
