How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE, and it fits the model’s appeal as a premium SUV with a conservative, family-friendly character. It was designed to feel quiet, comfortable, and spacious, with a familiar layout rather than a flashy one, so it suits you well if you want a polished luxury SUV that prioritises everyday usability. Standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada and an automatic transmission add to its practical, all-weather appeal. The market also shows 28.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE is described as a well-equipped, substantial luxury SUV with a reputation for being quiet, comfortable, and spacious. That said, electrical glitches are not unknown, and the air suspension fitted to some versions can be problematic and expensive to fix. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is most likely to come from repair complexity on higher-spec examples rather than from the basic concept of the vehicle itself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every good example to sit around for long.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,845 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $39,918 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,136 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can make the model more approachable for you now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if prices continue to soften. For a seller, that puts more emphasis on buying well and choosing a clean, well-maintained example. Strong equipment and the model’s premium positioning still help it appeal to used luxury SUV shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used luxury SUV that feels substantial, quiet, and family-friendly, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE is a strong primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced, best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
