How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA cost?

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests this model year lands well with shoppers who want a compact luxury car that leans heavily on style. The 2019 CLA’s low-slung shape and coupe-like profile give it a more dramatic look than a typical small sedan, and it brings Mercedes-Benz branding into a smaller, more attainable package. It is best suited to you if you value fashionable design and upscale presence more than maximum practicality. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 CLA is presented as a stylish, premium-feeling compact car that appeals to buyers who want an upscale badge and everyday usability in one package. Its strengths are tied more to design and image than to maximum practicality, so your ownership experience is likely to depend on whether that trade-off matches your priorities. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a style-first luxury car can be less forgiving if you expect broad utility from it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 98 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,043 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA's resale value?

The current average of $20,043 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,889 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing gives you a lower entry point, but you should still expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car presents. A style-led luxury model can hold interest when it is clean and well cared for, especially if it continues to appeal to buyers looking for premium branding in a smaller package.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, premium branding, and current market value, the 2019 is the one to focus on. It makes the most sense if you prioritise design and a luxury feel over maximum practicality. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can still compare nearby years, but the 2019 stands out as the primary choice when you want a fashionable entry into the Mercedes-Benz lineup.
