The owner feedback suggests it can feel dependable and solid over time, especially for shoppers who value a well-built compact car. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.

If you find a listing below $20,790 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class's resale value?

The current average of $20,790 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,923 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make future resale a little more challenging if values continue to soften. If you buy now, your best protection is choosing a well-kept example at a strong price. A lower entry cost can help offset some of the depreciation risk you may face later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a compact luxury car with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-market price. If you are price-sensitive, this year looks especially worth considering when you find a well-priced listing, but you should still compare condition and history carefully before buying.
