What is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class's resale value?

The current average of $24,821 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,210 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of protecting your value later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better pick if you want a well-liked version with softer pricing and enough inventory to compare options. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on nearby model years and focus on the best-priced listings rather than the newest one available.
