Is the 2019 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its stylish design, comfortable interior, and impressive features, and many also like its fun-to-drive character and safety equipment. For you, that makes the NX a strong fit if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels upscale and distinctive rather than ordinary. Is the 2019 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback and model overview both point to a vehicle that owners tend to trust for dependable, trouble-free ownership over the long term. Lexus’s reputation for reliability is a major part of the NX’s appeal, and that matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the NX’s core durability and more about finding one that was maintained properly and equipped the way you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus NX?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, especially if you are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 94 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,737 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $26,901 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,835 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the NX is currently more accessible to buy than it was a year ago, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to be shaped by how well the vehicle is presented, equipped, and maintained. A well-kept example with desirable features should still attract attention, but the broader market trend shows that buyers have become a bit more price-sensitive.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 NX makes the most sense if you want the model’s distinctive styling, premium feel, and strong owner approval at a price that has eased from last year. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever listing gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
