This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.29% compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT's resale value?

The current average of $14,267 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,645 CAD.

That kind of decline can make the model more attractive to you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If the market stays soft, resale values may remain under pressure in the near term. Well-priced examples should still draw attention, especially when they align with current deal expectations.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a good primary choice if you want a used Elantra GT with a favourable price trend and a decent share of deal-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
