Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Inventory: There are 79 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.62% compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT's resale value?

The current average of $13,934 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,122 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal if you're planning to sell later, because today's lower entry point may limit how much room there is for appreciation. On the other hand, it can help keep the car attractive to value-focused shoppers when you eventually list it. If the market stays steady, a well-priced example should still draw interest from buyers looking for a practical used hatchback.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and buyer confidence, the 2019 is the year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
