For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can point to lower ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 114 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,023 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback's resale value?

The current average of $19,829 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,708 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the market has eased compared with a year ago. If prices stay near this level, a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. Strong demand from shoppers looking for value can still support resale, especially when the car is well kept.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the year to focus on first. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
