Is the 2019 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a well-liked used truck.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, strong power, and broad feature set, and many also value the truck’s overall usefulness relative to competitors. That lines up well with the 2019 F-150’s wide-ranging appeal: you can shop it as a work truck, a family vehicle, or a more premium pickup depending on the configuration you choose.

With 27.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck people feel good about living with over time, especially because it is described as comfortable, powerful, and generally satisfying to own. That kind of response usually suggests you can count on it for regular use if you choose a well-kept example.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you inspect condition carefully, since pricing and trim quality can vary a lot across the market.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford F-150?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,076 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,145 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $28,145 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,482 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the truck in good condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $25,117 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $28,145 CAD average.
• It is a well-rounded, capable pickup with strong towing and efficiency.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,589 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,145 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern, comfortable cabin with strong everyday versatility.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a broad mix of features, strong owner satisfaction, and a healthy used-market selection. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better value path; if you want a newer-feeling cabin and can stretch your budget, the 2020 is worth a look.
