Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Charger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 57 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,828 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Charger's resale value?

The current average of $20,061 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,647 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Charger has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy now, you may not see rapid appreciation, so resale value will depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal. A well-kept example should still attract interest because the Charger’s performance image remains a major draw.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $26,239 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,061 CAD average.
• It adds the latest tech and infotainment features.

The bottom line:
The 2019 is the better starting point if you want a lower purchase price and strong owner satisfaction. If you are price-sensitive, the 2019 makes more sense than stepping up to the 2020, while shoppers who want newer tech may prefer to pay more for the later model year.
