The user feedback points to a car that many owners enjoy living with over time, especially for its dependable appeal as a muscle car with modern features. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the concept and more about finding a car that was not neglected or abused.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,564 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $52,515 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,071 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean future resale gains are less likely to come from broad market appreciation alone. If you plan to sell later, the current trend points to a vehicle whose value will depend heavily on condition, trim, and how desirable the specific example is. Stronger examples should still attract attention because the Challenger has clear enthusiast appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $34,576 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $52,515 CAD average.
• It adds new colours and a 50th Anniversary package for some trims.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current market value and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the better primary target. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2020 is the better secondary path, especially if you want to stretch your budget further while still staying in the Challenger family.
