What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $51,615 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,945 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy now, the softer pricing could help you enter at a better value point than a year ago. For resale, the key will be condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 21.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $36,962 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $51,615 CAD average.
• It adds new colours and a 50th Anniversary package.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the stronger value story and are willing to shop carefully for a well-kept example. If your priority is lower entry price, the 2020 is the better path, especially if you want a newer model year with a few extra appearance and personalisation touches.
