How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

There are 105 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, passenger and cargo room, and comfort features, and the model’s family-focused layout makes it especially appealing if you want a practical three-row SUV. It also fits well if you value straightforward technology and easy day-to-day usability. With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a healthy share of attractive options in the market.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependability, which supports the case for a used Traverse if you want something you can count on for family duty. Its reputation for being spacious and comfortable adds to that appeal, especially if you plan to keep it for regular commuting, school runs, and road trips. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should still inspect any example carefully, since even well-liked family SUVs can vary in condition and maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,495 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $19,768 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,307 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The Traverse’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale value will still depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Traverse is a strong choice if you want a roomy, family-friendly three-row SUV with solid owner approval and a market that currently favours careful shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 is a sensible sweet spot for value and satisfaction.
