How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 20.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 103 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you want to compare condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, dependability, and comfort features, and those themes line up well with its family-first layout and easy-to-live-with cabin. If you want a large three-row SUV that prioritises passenger and cargo room over flash, this model year fits that use case well. With 29.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some attractive value in the market.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights dependability and a trouble-free ownership experience, with comments that suggest you can count on it for family use. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk always depends on how the vehicle was cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,014 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $20,018 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,091 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Traverse easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and service records will matter even more when it comes time to set your asking price. Strong owner satisfaction can still help support demand, especially for shoppers looking for a practical family SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, family-friendly three-row SUV and you value a strong owner satisfaction signal, the 2019 Traverse is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years and target the best-priced example with the cleanest history and condition.
