Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval, steady pricing, and a useful amount of inventory, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If you are more price-sensitive, it is still worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s strong satisfaction and stable market position.
