I was completely shocked by how roomy the driver seat was. Im 65 300# and have more than enough leg room, the driver seat is very comfortable. I love the android auto/ Bluetooth to play music from my phone., plus I can do everything hands free by saying Hey Google. Surprisingly great gas mileage for an AWD.

Love this car so much. Had a 2015 and upgraded to a 2019. Just the right size for me. Love the interior, heated steering wheel is awesome, and I couldnt be without the sunroof. Runs great also. Not so thrilled with the Auto Stop feature, but I can live with it.

I love this car. Was super low on miles which was huge plus but so great on gas also. This model isnt stacked with extras but more than enough for what I need. Love the apple play! It is small inside but with 2nd row able to fold flat and also the front passenger seat can do the same it give me plenty of room for any antique store finds I may pick up. Having driven the Ford escape I would say similar to that but might be a tad bit smaller.

How much does the 2019 Buick Encore cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $15,131 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $15,056 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $18,028 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $17,888 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −15.41% |
Prices have softened 15.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 172 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2019 Buick Encore a good car?
Yes — the 2019 Buick Encore earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its spacious interior, stylish design, and fuel efficiency, and many see it as a good value in a smaller SUV. The market also shows 28.5% of listings as good or great deals, which adds to the appeal if you are shopping carefully.
Is the 2019 Buick Encore reliable?
Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and easy to live with over time, especially when it comes to everyday use and value. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well, since satisfaction can vary if prior care was inconsistent.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick Encore?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings may still move quickly.
- Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 172 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.41% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $15,056 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Buick Encore's resale value?
The current average of $15,131 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,888 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests buyers currently have more leverage, but it can also mean a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 Buick Encore or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.41% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2019 Buick Encore makes the most sense if you want a well-liked small SUV and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a better-equipped or similarly priced alternative gives you more value for your budget.
