Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick Encore?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 159 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,981 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Buick Encore's resale value?

The current average of $15,512 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,883 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar right away. If you buy now, you may benefit from the softer pricing, but you should also expect resale values to reflect the same downward trend unless market conditions improve. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Buick Encore or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked used SUV with softer pricing and a decent pool of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you the same features for less.
