What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $21,538 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,859 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q5 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. If you purchase near the current average or below it, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to the prior-year level. The model’s strong owner satisfaction should also help keep demand steady among used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,312 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,538 CAD average.
• The redesign brought more sophistication, room, and refinement.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want a well-liked, well-equipped luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer market. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2018 is the better value path, especially if you want to spend less while still getting a polished Q5 experience.
