Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 349 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,869 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $21,908 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,245 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable for short-term sellers. If you buy now, you may be entering at a more realistic market level than owners saw a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale performance will depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,464 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,908 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned, more sophisticated feel with broader improvements.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market value story and a well-liked, well-equipped luxury SUV. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better price-sensitive alternative and still offers a compelling all-round package.
