Yes — the 2018 Toyota Camry earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2018 Toyota Camry reliable?

The owner feedback points to reliable performance, and the Camry’s reputation for dependability comes through clearly in the review summary. For used shoppers, that suggests lower ownership risk than many alternatives, especially if you choose a well-maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but should still move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 23.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 134 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,530 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $20,899 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,923 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may not see the same level of appreciation that the market showed a year ago. If prices stabilise, the Camry’s broad appeal should help support demand. Its strong owner satisfaction also helps keep it attractive to used buyers when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 23.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want the newer, more polished version of the Camry without paying for the next model year’s stronger equipment and hybrid focus. If your priority is value, the 2018 makes sense when you find a well-priced example; if you want the broadest feature set or are shopping strictly on price, it is worth comparing nearby years as well.
