Used 2018 Toyota 4Runner for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2018 Toyota 4Runner cost?

Prices have softened 5.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 125 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2018 Toyota 4Runner a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Toyota 4Runner earns a 4.54/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its off-road capability, reliability, style, and durability, while the 4Runner’s body-on-frame design and standard 4WD in Canada make it a natural fit if you want a traditional SUV with real all-terrain ability. If you value toughness over a softer, road-focused crossover, this model year lines up well with that use case. With 25.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota 4Runner reliable?

Owners rate it 4.54/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also leans heavily toward reliability, with drivers describing it as dependable, rugged, and built for long-term use. That kind of reputation matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for years rather than one that feels disposable after a few seasons. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about accepting the 4Runner’s older-school compromises in everyday driving.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota 4Runner?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 125 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,035 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota 4Runner's resale value?

The current average of $37,564 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,917 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. Because the 4Runner has a reputation for durability and strong owner satisfaction, it should continue to attract buyers who want a rugged SUV with proven appeal. If you keep it in good condition and avoid overpaying today, you should be in a reasonable position when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.54/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota 4Runner or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.54/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the 4Runner’s classic ruggedness, standard 4WD, and strong owner approval, the 2018 is a solid year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar truck is available at a lower asking price, but the 2018 remains a sensible primary choice for buyers who prioritise durability and off-road ability.
