Used 2018 RAM 1500 for Sale nearQuebec, QC

How much does the 2018 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 14.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,472 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-truck shoppers.

Is the 2018 RAM 1500 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the comfort, features, and value for money, while also highlighting the truck’s power and towing capacity. The overview also fits that feedback: you get full-size truck capability with a notably comfortable ride, plus useful everyday tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free enough to keep recommending, especially for comfort and value over the long term. That said, some reviewers mention occasional issues with acceleration, so it’s worth paying attention to how a used example drives and whether it has been maintained consistently. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about finding a truck that has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,472 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,877 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $21,883 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,503 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the truck more appealing to buyers today but may limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you give yourself a better chance of preserving value later. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a comfortable, well-liked full-size truck with a softer used-market price than it had a year ago. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest one available.
