Used 2018 Nissan Sentra for Sale nearMarkham, ON

How much does the 2018 Nissan Sentra cost?

Prices have softened 18.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 159 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Yes — the 4.75/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2018 Sentra’s appeal is rooted in being a practical compact sedan with a roomy interior and a more fuel-efficient powertrain than before, so it suits you well if you want straightforward commuting comfort rather than excitement. It also shed 68 kilograms compared with the outgoing model, which helped keep it relatively light for its class. With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2018 Sentra’s reliability story is tied to its practical, value-focused design and the fact that Nissan continued refining the seventh-generation package over time. It is easy to live with and efficient, but the CVT-heavy lineup is part of why this generation is often viewed less favourably for reliability than later Sentras. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth weighing carefully, especially if you plan to keep the car for many years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Sentra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 159 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,629 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $10,820 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,264 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. The Sentra’s practical positioning should help it remain easy to shop, but resale value will still depend on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Sentra makes sense if you want a practical, roomy, fuel-efficient compact sedan and you find one priced well below the market average. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
