Used 2018 Nissan Sentra for Sale nearKingston, ON

How much does the 2018 Nissan Sentra cost?

Prices have softened 18.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 166 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Nissan Sentra earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction for a compact sedan focused on practicality. The overview highlights a more spacious interior, a more fuel-efficient powertrain, and a lighter body than the outgoing model, so you get a car built around sensible everyday use rather than flash. That makes it a good fit if you want a roomy, efficient commuter with a straightforward personality. With 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a healthy share of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2018 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that this generation is the least reliable of the model’s generations because of its CVT, so you should pay close attention to transmission behaviour on a test drive. For used buyers, that means reliability can still be acceptable, but long-term ownership risk is higher if the transmission has not been well maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Sentra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, especially if you are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 166 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,424 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $10,437 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,781 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Sentra easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one, pricing competitively will matter, especially because shoppers in this segment tend to compare value closely. The good news is that the model’s practical layout and efficiency-focused character still support steady demand among budget-conscious buyers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Sentra makes the most sense if you want a practical, efficient compact sedan and you find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, nearby model years may also be worth a look, but the 2018 is a solid primary choice when condition and transmission health check out.

How does the 2018 Nissan Sentra compare to the 2018 Honda Civic?

The Sentra is the lower-priced option and has a slightly better city fuel figure, while the Civic brings more power, stronger highway efficiency, and a much larger pool of listings. If your priority is value and a lower purchase price, the Sentra is the easier buy; if you want more performance and broader shopping choice, the Civic is the stronger benchmark.
