Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 266 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.46% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $16,022 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $16,022 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,399 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and avoid overpaying now, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. The current market also shows enough demand to support a used buyer base, which matters when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Murano is a strong pick if you want a comfort-focused midsize SUV with a premium-feeling cabin and a market price that has come down meaningfully. If your priority is value, this year looks especially appealing because the current average is well below last year’s level. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can also use the softer market to compare nearby years and focus on the best-equipped example rather than the newest badge.
