How much does the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 4.69/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxury features, comfort, cool features, and reliable engineering, while the overview also highlights its premium feel, quiet cabin, and spacious, family-friendly character. If you want a comfortable premium SUV with standard all-wheel drive and plenty of equipment, this model year fits that use case well. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.69/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to reliable engineering, and owners also describe the GLE as dependable and trouble-free in the ways that matter for everyday use. That said, some shoppers do mention electronic issues, so you should pay close attention to warning lights, infotainment behaviour, and service history on any used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a neglected vehicle with unresolved electrical or maintenance issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,596 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $27,815 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,910 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle well maintained, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to last year's average. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.69/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year. If your priority is value, this is the year to focus on; if you want to stretch for a newer example, compare carefully against nearby years and only pay more when the condition, equipment, and service history clearly justify it.
