The Kia Sedona and the Kia brand is so under sold by so many by us Toyota and Honda owners the Kia Sedona is one of the best vans I think as far as quality performance and durability goes. It is such a quiet and smooth ride compared to Toyota and Honda Toyota and Honda in my opinion are very cheaply made everything is made of plastic do you have a lot of road noise but with the Kia it is extremely quiet and has very good ride I love the Kia Sedona and the new Kia carnival and Kia in general and Hyundai great vehicles

Amazing ride, absolutely loaded, surprising power, a very comfortable van. It even told me on the way home that object on road ahead in your lane. I changed lanes as the car ahead of me plowed into the object. Awesome vehicle!!

How much does the 2018 Kia Sedona cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $15,780 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $15,156 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $18,933 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $18,245 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −13.51% |
Prices have softened 13.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 77 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2018 Kia Sedona a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used vehicle that has pleased previous owners. With 27.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2018 Kia Sedona reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Kia Sedona?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.
- Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 13.51% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $15,156 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2018 Kia Sedona's resale value?
The current average of $15,780 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,245 CAD.
That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. If you plan to resell later, buying at the lower end of the range can help protect your position. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2018 Kia Sedona or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 13.51% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line:
The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a used Sedona with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
