The Kia Sedona SX was fully loaded with every feature I could think of except a sun roof which was not important to me anyway. It had low milage (20,800) and was in great condition.

Good reliable transportation with plenty of room for the entire family. Drives and runs well. Would lkke better fuel economy, but it is what it is.

The Kia Sedona and the Kia brand is so under sold by so many by us Toyota and Honda owners the Kia Sedona is one of the best vans I think as far as quality performance and durability goes. It is such a quiet and smooth ride compared to Toyota and Honda Toyota and Honda in my opinion are very cheaply made everything is made of plastic do you have a lot of road noise but with the Kia it is extremely quiet and has very good ride I love the Kia Sedona and the new Kia carnival and Kia in general and Hyundai great vehicles

Amazing ride, absolutely loaded, surprising power, a very comfortable van. It even told me on the way home that object on road ahead in your lane. I changed lanes as the car ahead of me plowed into the object. Awesome vehicle!!

How much does the 2018 Kia Sedona cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $16,285 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $15,139 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $19,247 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $19,247 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −15.39% |
Prices have softened 15.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 90 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2018 Kia Sedona a good car?
Yes — the 2018 Kia Sedona earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction.
With 31.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from if you want value.
Is the 2018 Kia Sedona reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback suggests lower perceived ownership risk if the vehicle has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Kia Sedona?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.
- Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 90 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.39% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $15,139 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2018 Kia Sedona's resale value?
The current average of $16,285 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,247 CAD.
That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless market conditions improve. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should expect a more value-driven market rather than a rising one. Strong demand at the lower end of the price range can still help support a quicker sale.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2018 Kia Sedona or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2018 if:
- 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 15.39% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a used Sedona with solid owner satisfaction and a market that currently favours shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced listings rather than the newest one.
