How much does the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its strong performance, comfort, and luxurious features, and many also value the spacious interior, impressive technology, and off-road capability. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want an SUV that feels more premium than many mainstream rivals while still fitting everyday use. With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market opportunity to shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on comfort, performance, and capability. That said, the broader ownership story still includes fuel-economy concerns, so you should expect operating costs to be a consideration over the long term. For used buyers, the main risk is less about whether it feels solid and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 309 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,571 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $20,586 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,152 CAD.

That kind of decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy now, you are entering at a lower cost basis than owners who purchased a year ago, which can help soften depreciation pressure later. The model’s broad appeal and premium feel should still support demand, especially among shoppers who want capability without moving into a full luxury-brand SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the Grand Cherokee’s blend of capability, comfort, and premium feel at a more attractive used price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 stands out as a balanced choice when you want strong features and a healthier market position.
