How much does the 2018 Honda Odyssey cost?

There are 222 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Honda Odyssey earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its spaciousness, comfort, and family-friendly features, and many also highlight its reliability and modern design. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical family minivan with a more car-like driving feel and plenty of equipment. With 25.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliability and a dependable ownership experience, with many drivers describing it as a vehicle they can count on. That said, some owners mention the outdated entertainment system and rear airflow concerns, so you should still pay close attention to how the cabin systems work on a used example. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is buying a van with unresolved electrical, infotainment, or transmission issues, so a thorough inspection and maintenance review matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,936 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $24,121 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,908 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be helpful if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the current softness may limit short-term appreciation, though it can also make the van easier to move if you price it competitively. Strong family-vehicle demand and a well-kept service history should still help support future resale interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 25.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a well-equipped family minivan and you find one with a clean history, especially since pricing has eased and there are still plenty of listings to compare. If you're more price-sensitive, you may want to keep shopping nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
