Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Journey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 164 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,216 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $12,216 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,581 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you may be better positioned to absorb normal depreciation later. Strong demand for well-kept examples can still help support value, especially when the vehicle has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
