How much does the 2018 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 24.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 92 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, style, and comfort, and they also like the roomy interior and powerful engine options. For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a five-passenger coupe with real muscle-car personality and everyday usability. With 22.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also suggests the Challenger can be dependable when it has been cared for properly, with praise centred on its strong performance and comfort over time. That said, the model’s reputation is shaped by the fact that many examples were neglected or abused, so condition matters a lot when you shop used. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a poorly maintained car rather than the model itself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 22.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 92 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,823 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $31,823 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,138 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and trim choice than it would be for a more mainstream coupe. If you buy well and keep the car clean, you may be better positioned to recover value later than someone who settles for a rough example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 22.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 24.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the Challenger’s classic muscle-car character and you find a clean example at a sensible price. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years as well, but the 2018 remains a strong choice when condition and deal quality line up.
