How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze cost?

Prices have softened 10.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 271 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, excellent fuel economy, and comfort, and many also value the safety features and family-friendly practicality. The Cruze fits well if you want an affordable compact car that feels well equipped and easy to live with. With 31.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise for its comfort, fuel economy, and overall ease of living with day to day. That said, some owners mention power limitations, especially with the air conditioning on, so a used example is worth a careful test drive to make sure it suits your needs over the long term.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Cruze?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting extreme bargains.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 271 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,076 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze's resale value?

The current average of $12,204 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,670 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cruze has softened in the used market, which can make it more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. A model with strong equipment and a clean history should be easier to move on when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Cruze is a sensible pick if you want a well-equipped compact car with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If you are price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 is the better fit when you want a balance of value, comfort, and market availability.
