• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 287 listings available.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze's resale value?

The current average of $10,870 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,289 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cruze has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help limit further value loss if you buy at the right price. For a future seller, that means your best protection is to buy well, keep mileage reasonable, and maintain the car carefully. A model with strong equipment and broad appeal can still attract steady interest, especially when it offers the comfort and efficiency many shoppers want.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.35/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.35/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Cruze is the better pick if you want a well-equipped compact car with strong efficiency, everyday comfort, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 remains the safer all-around choice when you want a balanced mix of value and owner satisfaction.
