Is the 2018 Audi Q3 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi Q3 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, safety features, stylish design, good sound system, and high-tech features. The main trade-offs mentioned are limited cargo space and the absence of a heated steering wheel. With 24.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially because of its comfort, safety, and overall quality feel. That said, if you need maximum cargo flexibility or very specific comfort features, you should check whether a used example fits your needs before committing. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a vehicle that does not match your space or feature expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 24.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $16,317 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $16,393 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,925 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q3 easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model's owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale value will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 24.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Audi Q3 with strong owner approval and a softer price than a year ago, the 2018 is a sensible place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the lowest-priced examples with the right equipment and condition.
