How much does the 2017 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices are up 7.61% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 60 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its power, reliability, and roomy interior, and many feel it delivers enough features and performance to justify the price. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a full-size pickup that prioritises durability and capability over a luxury-focused cabin. With 18.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and a truck that many drivers feel comfortable keeping for the long haul. That said, some owners mention wear and tear, so a used example still deserves a careful inspection before you commit. For you, the main long-term ownership risk is buying a truck that has been worked hard without being maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Toyota Tundra?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when you find a well-priced truck.

• Deal availability: 18.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.61% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $31,759 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $37,370 CAD sits slightly above last year's $34,727 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tundra has held buyer interest well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. A truck that is already trading above its prior-year average can be easier to move when demand stays steady. Because this model year has a strong reputation with owners, it may continue to attract shoppers who value durability and long-term usefulness.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 18.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.61% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2017 if you want a proven full-size pickup with strong owner approval and you are comfortable paying a premium for that reputation. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with lower average pricing may be the better path, especially if you are willing to shop patiently for a clean example.
