The 2017 Nissan Rogue stands out as a practical compact crossover that leans more towards ease of use, comfort, and value than ruggedness. By this point in the model’s life, it had grown into a family-friendly vehicle with a roomy cabin, a smooth ride, and a strong reputation for offering a lot of equipment for the money. It also kept the Rogue formula simple, with a 2.5-litre engine, a CVT, and the choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
