Used 2017 Nissan Murano for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2017 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 20.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 235 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, numerous features, and stylish design, and many also appreciate the comfort and power, especially in the higher trims. In practical terms, that lines up well if you want a midsize crossover that leans into comfort, style, and everyday usability rather than sporty handling. The market also shows 25.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially when they value comfort and features over a more basic alternative. At the same time, some shoppers have raised concerns about reliability, so you should pay close attention to maintenance records and the vehicle’s condition before buying. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but only if you choose a well-kept example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 25.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 235 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,313 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $14,313 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,953 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, though resale gains are unlikely to be driven by appreciation. Instead, your best protection is choosing a clean, well-maintained example that will stay attractive to the next buyer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 25.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Murano makes the most sense if you want a comfort-first midsize crossover with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If you’re price-sensitive, this year is especially worth a look because the market has cooled and there are still a fair number of deal-priced listings. If you want to compare nearby years, focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
