Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 16.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 148 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 4.86/5 user rating suggests you should expect a well-liked used luxury SUV. Drivers consistently praise its comfortable ride, smooth performance, and appealing features, and many also value the power and safety it brings on longer trips. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a premium compact SUV that feels polished, practical, and easy to live with in everyday use. With 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a vehicle that can feel dependable in daily use when it is well cared for, but it also includes cautionary notes about reliability issues and significant mechanical problems in some cases. That means you should approach a used example with a careful inspection history and a close look at maintenance records, because long-term ownership risk is higher than you might expect from the cabin quality and driving experience alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 148 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,270 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $21,505 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,729 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to used buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value than someone who pays near the top of the range. The current spread between the low and high end also shows that condition, equipment, and listing quality still matter a lot.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better choice if you want a well-liked compact luxury SUV with a softer market price and you are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2017 stands out as the more compelling pick when you want a balance of value, comfort, and buyer appeal.
